As a multimedia designer and developer and an instructor in new media, I consider my artistic, professional, and academic experiences to be closely related to each other. They reciprocally contribute in shaping the current status of my work. Although, learning the concepts and the techniques of digital arts and multimedia requires continuous research and dedication, possibilities are endless. From the use of software to programming, I find an arsenal of complex tools at my disposal. The excitement comes from applying the acquired skills to create interactive art, intelligent art, 3D virtual environments, animations, or web and graphic design.

I have always been attracted to both fine arts and commercial arts. I have studied, practiced, and taught in both areas. Samples on this website demonstrate a broad range of my activities; from my professional multimedia works, including interactive projects, web design, animation, and graphic design, to my purely artistic works, such as virtual reality and other digital interactive installations. Since the theoretical aspect of new media arts is an integral part of my research, I have included examples of my writings. You could also find the curriculum of some of the classes I teach as well as a few of my students' works.
