Alright, I have to admit that I'm a big Maya fan. I have worked with it from when it was called Power Animator. But since I had to teach 3ds max for two semesters, I learned this program thoroughly and used it for quite some time too. I ended up liking its ease of use and user-friendliness. After all, they say that it's not the tool that matters much, but the outcome. Nonetheless, after those two semesters, I went back to Maya, and these days I use it exclusively for my 3D modeling and animation needs. I also use Flash for 2D animation meant for the Web and Adobe After Effects for other kinds of 2D animation.
